<p>This privacy policy explains how Made Memories ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit madememories.co.uk or place an order with us. We're committed to keeping your information safe and using it only for what we tell you here.</p>

<p>Made Memories is a small business based in Hull, Yorkshire. We are the data controller for the information we collect about you.</p>

<li><strong>When you order:</strong> name, email, phone, billing and shipping address.</li>
<li><strong>When you sign up for emails:</strong> your email address (and first name if you give it).</li>
<li><strong>When you visit:</strong> standard server logs (IP, browser, pages visited) and cookies. See our cookie use below.</li>

<li>To process and fulfil your order.</li>
<li>To send you order confirmations and dispatch updates.</li>
<li>To send you marketing emails (only if you've opted in — and you can unsubscribe at any time).</li>

<h2>Who we share it with</h2>
<p>We share only what's needed to deliver your order: Stripe (payment processing), Royal Mail/DPD (shipping), Klaviyo (email — only if you've opted in). We do not sell your data.</p>
<h2>How long we keep it</h2>
<p>Order data: 7 years (UK tax law). Email subscriber data: until you unsubscribe. Server logs: 30 days.</p>
<h2>Your rights</h2>
<p>Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to: access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict our use of it, or move it to another provider. Email <a href="mailto:hello@madememories.co.uk">hello@madememories.co.uk</a> to make a request.</p>
<h2>Cookies</h2>
<p>We use a small number of cookies to make the site work (your cart) and to understand how visitors use it (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel — only with your consent). You'll see a cookie banner on your first visit.</p>
